All around Raleigh it’s a stunning sight as the first blooms of the season are exploding with radiance. During this transition we anxiously await for the Spring crops from our local farmers, providing us with fresh new ingredients to get creative in the kitchen.
 Last chance to begin your meal with our Roasted Certified Angus Beef Bone Marrow served with  Fried Capers, Charred Onions, Preserved Lemon, Cornbread Crumble, and Micro Chervil.
 This week’s seasonally inspired soup is  Wild Mushroom and Leek with Shaved Black Truffles.
Tomorrow, from our friends at Locals Seafood, we’ll have NC Monkfish. Call or come in to see how Chef Tom will be preparing this delicious fish.
If you haven’t already taken the time to enjoy our beautiful and sophisticated Blood Orange Semifreddo be sure to do so before they’re all gone. This layered treat includes Chocolate Spice Cake, Chocolate Bark, Pistachio Brittle, Candied Blood Orange Zest and a Blood Orange Reduction.
Look for a NEW dessert, as well…tomorrow, we’ll have NC Pecan Tart served with homemade Mint Julep Ice Cream made with the first fresh Mint from Chef Tom’s own herb garden.

Blood Orange Semifreddo

Blood Orange Semifreddo layered between a decadent Chocolate Spice Cake and topped with a crunchy Chocolate Shell, the Semifreddo is perfectly paired with Pistachio Brittle, Candied Blood Orange Zest and a Blood Orange Reduction.
