What’s New At Vinnie’s

It’s hard to believe that we are already half-way through June and less than two
weeks away from July!As a reminder, Vinnie’s will be closed the entire week of July 4th, Tuesday, July 2nd through Saturday, July 6th to give our staff some much needed R&R and to spruce things up a little at Vinnie’s. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, July 9th. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday, but we hope to see you at Vinnie’s before the break!

In the meantime, make sure you make time to enjoy some of our tantalizing early Summer features. Starting with our Fried Green Tomatoes… thinly sliced, fried to perfection and served to you with house-made Pimento Cheese and Green Goddess Dip. What a treat!

This week’s Blue Sky Farms Salad consists of Mixed Baby Lettuces tossed in a Whole Grain Mustard Vinaigrette adorned with Johnston County Prosciutto, Asparagus Tips, Pickled Red Onions, Radishes, and Cured Egg Yolk.

From the sea, savor Seared Atlantic Sea Scallops served with a Crispy Polenta Cake, Green Tomato Salsa, Microgreens and finished with a Lemon Beurre Blanc.

In the Tavern, our Featured Burger is a Fried Green Tomato Burger! Certified Angus Beef Burger, topped with Pimento Cheese, Fried Green Tomato and served with Green Goddess.

Tomorrow, we’ll have a NEW classic dessert feature! Try our homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, made with fresh Mint from Chef Tom’s own herb garden, accompanied by Double Chocolate Cookies.
