What’s New At Vinnie’s
Do you remember the 21st night of September? Vinnie’s was changing the minds of pretenders while chasing the clouds away. The recent cooler weather has been perfect for embracing one of our favorite seasons and all the seasonal produce that is to come. Chef Tom will be working hard to bring you the freshest local ingredients NC has to offer. Join us this week as we transition into Fall and await all the bounty it has to offer.
Enjoy Peaches while you can and try our Blue Sky Farms Salad… Mixed Baby Lettuces dressed with White Balsamic Vinaigrette embellished with Grilled NC Peaches, House-made Farm Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, Radishes, and Toasted Cornbread Crumble for a little crunch.
We love being able to get fresh, local vegetables from our NC farmers. Straight from the State Farmers’ Market, we have Fried NC Okra, the perfect complement to any meal.
Fresh off the boats from our friends at Locals Seafood, we have NC Red Drum, Pan-Fried and served with a Stuffed Pepper filled with Blackened Shrimp, Silver Queen Corn, Carolina Gold Rice, and Local Goat Cheese then finished with a Charred Onion Aioli. You can also enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée, or you can always add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf. We also have a limited supply of NC Flounder and Heritage Farms Pork Chops available. With so many options to choose from you’ll have to dine with us more than once this week!
End your meal with a little extra indulgence, Fried NC Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce. You will definitely want to try these before Peach season comes to an end!
