What’s New At Vinnie’s

It may not feel like it, but Autumn is here, a season most of us look forward to after a long hot Summer. As we patiently await the cooler weather that will soon be upon us, Chef Tom will be working hard to bring you the freshest local ingredients NC has to offer. Join us this week as we transition into Fall and enjoy a delicious meal at Vinnie’s.

Peach season is over so later this week we’ll be featuring a NEW Blue Sky Farms Salad…call or come by to see what combination of fresh, seasonal ingredients Chef Tom will put together.

We love being able to get seasonal, local vegetables from our NC farmers. As summer slips away and the weather cools down, this week will be your LAST CHANCE to enjoy our Fried NC Okra. The perfect side to complement any of your favorite menu items.

Fresh off the boats from our friends at Locals Seafood, we have NC Red Drum, Pan-Fried and served with a Stuffed Pepper filled with Blackened Shrimp, Silver Queen Corn, Carolina Gold Rice, and Local Goat Cheese then finished with a Charred Onion Aioli. You can also enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée, or you can always add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf. We also have a limited supply of NC Flounder available. We will also have New Zealand Lamb later in the week. With so many options to choose from you’ll have to dine with us more than once this week!

This week’s featured salad showcases Grilled NC Peaches, House-Made Farm Cheese, Pickled Red Onion, Toasted Cornbread Crumble, Radishes, Cherry Tomatoes and Mixed Baby Lettuces tossed in a White Balsamic Vinaigrette.

Fried Peach Pies

As long as Peaches are still in season we’ll be serving these delicious Fried Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce.
