What’s New At Vinnie’s

Remember, Vinnie’s will be CLOSED the entire week following July 4th, Tuesday, July 5th through Saturday, July 9th to give our staff some much-needed R&R and to spruce things up a little at Vinnie’s. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, July 12th. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday, but we hope to see you at Vinnie’s before the break!

Since we will be closed next week, we will be running our inventory down throughout the week. If you plan to join us for dinner this week and have your heart set on a particular menu item, please give us a call to check on availability.
This week in the kitchen, Chef Tom and his stellar crew have been working hard to provide you with our state’s seasonal best. Starting with our Fried Green Tomatoes… thinly sliced, fried to perfection, and served to you with house-made Pimento Cheese and Green Goddess Dip. What a treat!

Enjoy fresh local greens with this week’s Blue Sky Farms Salad, consisting of Mixed Baby Lettuces tossed in a Roasted Pepper-Sherry Vinaigrette with Pickled Shishito Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, Radishes, and topped with Smoked NC Tuna Salad.

Remember to enjoy our Duck Fat Mushrooms as a supplement to your meal…Wild Mushrooms sautéed in duck fat, finished with shallots and fresh thyme. These are sure to be a wonderful addition to any entrée.

From our friends at Locals Seafood, we will have a limited supply of Fresh Outer Banks Scallops. You can always enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée, or you can add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf. We also have a limited supply of Heritage Farms Pork Chops. With so many options to choose from, you’ll have to dine with us more than once this week!

We hope you saved room for dessert! Try our homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, made with fresh Mint from Chef Tom’s own herb garden, accompanied by Double Chocolate Cookies.
Per the Mayor’s announcement as of Friday, February 25th you will be not required to wear a mask when you come in to dine with us. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions or concerns. Your safety and health and that of our staff are our top priority in these trying times. With the capacity limits and social distancing lifted, we strongly recommend making a reservation.
