Summer is advancing into its final days, and that means that some of your seasonal favorites will soon be gone. It’s a good thing Vinnie’s is in-season all year long, showcasing the finest and freshest foods North Carolina has to offer. Chef Tom has been cooking up a storm and is almost ready to introduce some delicious new features that will entice and delight you. Dine-in, dine on our patio, order take out, or pick up curb side.
Start your meal with our Local Heirloom Tomato Salad, with Watermelon, Cucumber, Microgreens, Toasted Cornbread Crumble and House-made Basil Crème Fraîche.
We love being able to get seasonal, local vegetables from our NC farmers. This week we are serving Southern-Style Butter Beans and Fried NC Okra, the same way Grandma used to make. The perfect sides to complement any of your favorite menu items.
Tomorrow, fresh off the boats, from our friends at Locals Seafood we’ll be receiving NC Red Drum, Pan Fried paired with a Stuffed Red Carmen Pepper filled with NC Blackened Shrimp, Sweet Corn, Carolina Gold Rice, and Goat Cheese, the plate is dressed with our Preserved Lemon Aioli. You may also want to savor our New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Steak Oscar, and Broiled Maine Lobster Tails as an entree or add one to any of your steaks to make it a Surf & Turf.
Make sure you save room for dessert! We have a NEW featured dessert this week, Fried NC Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce.
Or you may want to enjoy classic Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, made with mint from Chef Tom’s own herb garden. A simple and delicious way to end your meal.
As we transition during this phase, seating will be limited due to capacity restrictions, so reservations are strongly recommended. In an effort to promote social distancing we ask that once you arrive for your reservation, please call the front desk to check-in. We will let you know when your table is ready. We will not be requiring that you wear a mask at your table, however we do request that you wear a mask when you arrive to be seated and when you are leaving. Vinnie’s staff greatly appreciates your cooperation in helping keep our other guests and ourselves safe. We would also like to mention that we do have our very own Vinnie’s masks and Vinnie’s hand sanitizer available for purchase at the front desk.
