It’s hard to believe, but Spring is quickly coming to a close and Summer will be here before you know it. As we start to transition into the new season, you’ll notice some new features beginning to appear as others depart. Join us this week for your last chance to get your fix of our favorite Spring dishes.
This WEEKEND Chef Tom is bringing back one of your favorites, Fried Green Tomatoes… thinly sliced, fried to perfection and served to you with house-made Pimento Cheese and Green Goddess Dip. What a treat!
Starting tomorrow we will have a NEW Blue Sky Farms Salad… call or stop by to see what fresh seasonal ingredients Chef Tom will put together for this new version.
Remember to enjoy our Duck Fat Mushrooms as a supplement to your meal…Wild Mushrooms sautéed in duck fat, finished with shallots and fresh thyme. Also, our Twice Baked Potatoes mixed with Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream, Butter, Bacon Bits, and Chives then baked again to a Golden Brown and Delicious are the perfect addition to any entree.
But wait, there’s more! From our friends at Locals Seafood, we have NC Mahi-Mahi… Grilled and served over a bed of Green Beans, House-made Italian Sausage, Eggplant, and finished with Citrus Beurre Blanc. You can also enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée, or you can always add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf. We also have a limited supply of fresh NC Flounder and Outer Banks Scallops. With so many options to choose from you’ll have to dine with us more than once this week!
Chef Tom’s search efforts on the Raleigh Greenways have subsided as the scent of sweet yellow Honeysuckle blossoms begins to fade away. This week, but for a limited time, he is offering his most anticipated dessert of the year…Strawberry Shortcake with Honeysuckle Ice Cream. Don’t miss out on this once a year treat!
