What’s New At Vinnie’s…
Autumn, Fall, whatever you call it, it’s almost here! School is back in session, cooler weather is on the way and everyone’s itching to grab their favorite sweaters. That means Chef Tom is also starting to see fall produce popping up at the local farmers’ markets. Don’t worry though…you still have some time to celebrate the last bites of summer and we’d love for you to join us.
To accommodate all levels of comfort during this time you can choose to sit in our socially distanced dining room, dine on our patio, order take-out, or pick up curb side. However you choose to join us, we hope to see you soon. Here’s a look at what Chef Tom and our amazing kitchen team have in store for you this week.
Begin your meal with our NC Big Eye Tuna Carpaccio. Thinly sliced raw tuna garnished with Crispy Oyster Mushrooms, Pickled Shishito Peppers, Sweet Corn, Sriracha Aioli and Microgreens.
We love being able to get seasonal, local vegetables from our NC farmers. This week we are serving Fried NC Okra. The perfect side to complement any of your favorite menu items.
From our friends at Locals Seafood, we have NC Red Drum, Pan-Fried and served with a Stuffed Red Carmen Pepper filled with Blackened Shrimp, Charred Corn, Carolina Gold Rice, and Goat Cheese and finished with Preserved Lemon Aioli. You may also want to savor our New Zealand Rack of Lamb or a Broiled Maine Lobster Tail as an entree. You can also add a Lobstertail to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf.
As always, make sure you save room for dessert! Our featured dessert this week is Fried NC Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce. These won’t be around for long as peach season dwindles down, so don’t miss out.
As we transition during this phase, seating will be limited due to capacity restrictions, so reservations are strongly recommended. In an effort to promote social distancing we ask that once you arrive for your reservation, please call the front desk to check-in. We will let you know when your table is ready. We will not be requiring that you wear a mask at your table, however we do request that you wear a mask when you arrive to be seated and when you are leaving. Vinnie’s staff greatly appreciates your cooperation in helping keep our other guests and ourselves safe. We would also like to mention that we do have our very own Vinnie’s masks and Vinnie’s hand sanitizer available for purchase at the front desk.
