We have made it to August and things are really starting to heat up. Local produce is flourishing, providing Chef Tom with loads of yummy ingredients to work with. Join us this week for some incredible Summer features sure to satisfy.
Begin your meal with our bright and colorful Heirloom Tomato Salad with Summer Melons, Cucumber, Radish, Toasted Cornbread Crumble and a House-made Basil Crème Fraîche. We love being able to get fresh, local vegetables from our NC farmers.
Back by popular demand and fresh from the State Farmers’ Market, we will have Fried NC Okra and Southern-Style Butterbeans, perfect to compliment any meal.This week’s coastal catch is NC Red Snapper from our friends at Locals Seafood.
Chef Tom will be sautéing this tasty fish served with Tomato Risotto, Zucchini, and a Sweet Corn Beurre Blanc. For dessert, cool down with our very popular Blueberry Crostata! Served with homemade Peach Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce, it is the perfect way to end an already perfect meal.
NC Red Snapper
Caught off the coast of North Carolina, Sauteed NC Red Snapper served with Tomato Risotto, Zucchini and a Sweet Corn Beuree Blanc.
NC Blueberry Crostata
Two of our favorite flavors come together in a delectable Crostata made with NC Blueberries . This delightful dessert is topped with Homemade NC Peach Ice Cream and finished with a Caramel Sunflower.
