In August, we find that the Summer heat continues to linger as we anticipate the cooler months of Autumn. As you dream of falling leaves and cooler weather, Vinnie’s has some extraordinary features to showcase this great time between seasons.
Begin your meal with Grilled NC Peach Salad with Baby Mixed Lettuces tossed in a White Balsamic Vinaigrette adorned with house-made Farm Cheese, Pickled Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumber and Radishes.
We love being able to get fresh, local vegetables from our NC farmers. Back by popular demand and fresh from the State Farmers’ Market, we will have Fried NC Okra and Southern-Style Butterbeans, perfect to compliment any meal.
From our friends at Locals Seafood we have Grilled NC Swordfish, served with Green Beans, Roasted Eggplant, Silver Queen Corn and a robust Pecan Romesco Sauce.
End your meal with a little extra indulgence, Fried NC Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce. You will definitely want to try these before Peach season comes to an end!
