Hello Autumn! The recent cooler weather has been perfect to embrace one of our favorite seasons and all the seasonal produce that is to come. Chef Tom will be working hard to bring you the freshest local ingredients NC has to offer. Join us this week to try the latest seasonal dishes that’ll be sure to tempt your taste buds and raise some forks (and spoons).
With the cooler weather setting in, it’s not only sweater weather, it’s also soup weather. This week Vinnie’s welcomes back our classic French Onion Soup! Rich Beef Broth flavored with Sherry and Caramelized Onions, topped with House-made Croutons and Provolone Cheese. Look for more of your favorite soups in the weeks to come.
Begin your meal with our Jumbo Fried Maine Lobster Tail battered and fried to crispy golden brown and served with Drawn Butter.
We love being able to get seasonal, local vegetables from our NC farmers. As summer slips away and the weather cools down, this week will be your last chance to enjoy our Fried NC Okra. The perfect side to complement any of your favorite menu items.
This week’s fresh catch is NC Triggerfish. Chef Tom will be grilling this hearty fish and serving it over a Potato and Leek Hash and finishing with a Pecan Romesco Sauce. You may also want to savor our New Zealand Rack of Lamb or a Broiled Maine Lobster Tail as an entree. You can also add a Lobstertail to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf.
This week’s dessert will be your NEW favorite! Homemade Blueberry Newtons served with Homemade Brown Butter-Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. A final opportunity to enjoy the bounty of summer.
Remember, Vinnie’s accommodates all levels of comfort during this time. You can choose to sit in our socially distanced dining room, dine on our patio, order take-out, or pick up curb side. However you choose to join us, we hope to see you soon.
As we transition during this phase, seating will be limited due to capacity restrictions, so reservations are strongly recommended. In an effort to promote social distancing we ask that once you arrive for your reservation, please call the front desk to check-in. We will let you know when your table is ready. We will not be requiring that you wear a mask at your table, however we do request that you wear a mask when you arrive to be seated and when you are leaving. Vinnie’s staff greatly appreciates your cooperation in helping keep our other guests and ourselves safe. We would also like to mention that we do have our very own Vinnie’s masks and Vinnie’s hand sanitizer available for purchase at the front desk.
