We hope everyone had a safe and festive Fourth of July. Now that we are into the “hot stretch” of summer, we’ll be trying to do what we can to help you beat the heat and cool down. Start out with a cold beverage like this week’s featured wine, Legaris 2010 Verdejo…light and crisp with hints of citrus, melon and apple. Very refreshing.
From the kitchen, Chef Tom is serving Fried Green Tomatoes with a White Cheddar Pimento Cheese and an Avocado Emulsion. In addition, we are featuring some amazing produce from our new friends at the Raleigh City Farm in Downtown Raleigh in a beautiful salad with Baby Lettuces, Sungold Tomatoes, Radishes, Candied Pecans, Roquefort Cheese and a Pickled Beet Vinaigrette. From our friends at Locals Seafood, we’ve got the last of the season’s Blueline Tilefish. And last but not least, our featured dessert is like Summer on a plate…Blueberry Crostata with Homemade Peach Ice Cream.
