This week, Chef Tom will have a new version of our Raleigh City Farm Salad. This version will consist of beautiful Mixed Baby Lettuces with Grilled NC Shrimp, Local Strawberries, Feta Cheese from Hillsborough Cheese Co., Toasted Cornbread and a White Balsamic Vinaigrette.
From our friends at Locals Seafood, we will be receiving our first big batch of Live NC Softshell Crabs. Chef Tom will be serving these simply with Spring Greens and a Preserved Lemon Aioli. Have one as a starter or double up for a dinner portion.
Chef Tom also has an updated version of one of his dessert classics…Southern Style Poundcake with Brown Butter Pecan Ice Cream, Earl Grey Syrup and Fresh Blackberries. And for those of you who are dying to know, Chef Tom has been scouting and it looks like Honeysuckle season is still about 2 weeks away. Don’t worry though…you know it will be worth the wait!
