In August, we find that the Summer heat continues to linger as we anticipate the cooler months of Autumn. As you dream of falling leaves and cooler weather, Vinnie’s has some extraordinary features to showcase this great time between seasons.
This week in the kitchen, Chef Tom starts your meal with Fried Pamlico Sound Oysters with Creamed Corn and Leeks and finished with a Sriracha Aioli.
The latest version of our Raleigh City Farm Salad features the best of late summer produce, including Grilled NC Peaches, Pickled Peppers, Shaved Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Mixed Baby Lettuces and an Herb Garden Vinaigrette.
From our friends at Locals Seafood, we will have NC Grouper. Chef Tom will be grilling it and serving it with Sautéed Zucchini Noodles and a Romesco Sauce. You can also add a side of Fried Okra to your meal while it’s still available.
Finally, save room for dessert and finish your meal with our house made NC Peach Ice Cream. Later in the week and for a limited time, Chef Tom will be offering Fried Peach Pies with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauces. You will definitely want to try these before Peach season comes to an end!
