Autumn is officially underway, which means we are just a few weeks away from our 30th Anniversary Celebration. Vinnie’s would like to invite you to join us for a week-long celebration of serving up welcoming smiles, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences. The celebration will be the entire 3rd week of October, Tuesday, October 17th through Saturday, October 21st. Vinnie’s is also excited to announce our upcoming Meet the Maker event. On Thursday, November 16th, we will be hosting one of our favorites, Reynold’s Family Winery. Vinnie’s welcomes Steve Reynolds, owner of Reynolds Family Winery in Napa, CA, for a wonderful evening featuring beautifully handcrafted wines from Napa Valley paired with Chef Tom’s delicious dishes. Come experience this unique opportunity to ‘Meet the Maker’ yourself! Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 16th!
In the kitchen this week, Chef Tom is preparing some of your favorite fall dishes.
Starting Wednesday, you can start you meal with Steamed NC Clams with house-made Chorizo and Linguini.
Also starting Wednesday, we’ll have Butternut Squash Bisque with Crispy Oyster Mushrooms.
Our featured entree this week is “NC Shrimp and Grits” made with NC Shrimp, a crispy Polenta Cake, sautéed Spinach, and finished with a Tomato Bacon Jam. We highly recommend you try Vinnie’s Italian twist on this southern classic.
And finally, it wouldn’t be Fall without pumpkins, so starting this week, Chef Tom will be featuring our famous Pumpkin Cheesecake with a Ginger-Snap Crust, Cinnamon Creme Anglaise and Toasted Pecans.
