It’s hard to believe that we have come up on June so quickly. Some of your favorite summertime treats are here and some are just a few weeks away. This week Chef Tom has some wonderful summertime fare to kick off the season. With the weather looking so nice, now would be a good time to slow things down, come over and join us at Vinnie’s to relax and enjoy a perfectly prepared meal on our cozy patio as we get settled into Summer.
Our newest version of the Raleigh City Farm Salad for you, includes a Smoked Certified Angus Beef Short Rib Fritter, Boiled Egg, Marinated Zucchini, Mixed Cherry Tomatoes, Radishes and a Citrus-Tarragon Vinaigrette.
From our friends at Locals Seafood, we have fresh Mahi Mahi with a Sugar Snap Pea, Shitake Mushroom and Leek Stir-Fry and drizzled with a Ginger Beurre Blanc.
Many of you have already been asking about another of Chef Tom’s popular seasonal desserts and it will be just a few more weeks before Peaches and Blueberries really get into season. In the meantime, come in to try one of our old favorites- Pecan Tart served with house made Mint Julep Ice Cream, made with Mint from Chef Tom’s own herb garden.
We would also like to remind you that Vinnie’s will be closed the entire week of July 4th, Tuesday, July 3rd through Saturday, July 7th to give our staff some much needed R&R and to spruce things up a little at Vinnie’s. We will reopen at normal business hours on Tuesday, July 10th. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday, but we hope to see you at Vinnie’s before the break!
