What’s New At Vinnie’s

Springtime is filled with cool mornings, warm afternoons, and the delightful nostalgic scent of Honeysuckle in the air. Just what many of you have been waiting to hear about…Chef Tom has been scouring the Raleigh Greenways looking for those sweet yellow Honeysuckle blossoms that you’ve probably been seeing and smelling. This week, but for a limited time, he is offering one of his most anticipated dessert of the year…Strawberry Shortcake with Honeysuckle Ice Cream. Don’t miss out on this once-a-year treat!

This week’s Blue Sky Farms Salad features a variety of Mixed Baby Lettuces, tossed in a White Balsamic Vinaigrette and topped with fresh local Strawberries, Toasted Cornbread Crumble, Housemade Farm Cheese, Thinly Sliced Radish, and topped with Grilled NC Shrimp.

From our friends at Locals Seafood, we have more fresh NC Softshell Crabs. These tasty morsels will be served Beer-Battered and Fried Crispy with a Charred Ramp Tartar Sauce. Don’t miss out on such a delicious treat!

Remember to enjoy our Duck Fat Mushrooms as a supplement to your meal…Wild Mushrooms sautéed in duck fat, finished with shallots and fresh thyme. These are sure to be a wonderful addition to any entrée.

You can enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée, or you can always add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf & Turf. We also have a limited supply of New Zealand Lamb Chops and Outer Banks Scallops. With so many options to choose from, you’ll have to dine with us more than once this week!

Leaving room for dessert has never been more of a priority! Our newest Spring dessert will soon be your new favorite… Strawberry Shortcake made with locally sourced Strawberries and freshly Whipped Cream, paired with Chef Tom’s homemade Honeysuckle Ice Cream, finished with a drizzle of Honeysuckle Syrup.
