What’s New At Vinnie’s
Springtime is filled with cool mornings, warm afternoons, and the delightful, nostalgic scent of Honeysuckle in the air. Chef Tom has started to scout the city greenways looking for those sweet-smelling blossoms and plans to be serving his famous Honeysuckle Ice Cream next week. We will continue to keep you updated on his progress, you won’t want to miss this once a year treat!
This week, start your meal with our Fresh NC salad featuring Local Strawberries, House-made Farm Cheese, Toasted Cornbread Crumbles, Radishes and Mixed Baby Lettuces tossed with a White Balsamic Vinaigrette.
From our friends at Locals Seafood, we’ll have more Live NC Softshell Crabs. These tasty morsels will be served simply, Beer-Battered and Fried Crispy with a Charred Ramp Tartar Sauce. Have one to start your meal, or double up for a dinner portion.
In honor of Mother’s Day, our Featured Burger this week is an “Egg Benedict Burger”… Certified Angus Beef Patty served on top of a fresh Michael’s English Muffin(the best english muffin you’ve ever had!), topped with Canadian Bacon, Poached Egg and Hollandaise.
As always, make sure to save room for dessert! We have a NEW favorite, “Vinnie’s Peppermint Patty,” homemade Peppermint Ice Cream sandwiched between two Triple Chocolate Cookies dipped in Chocolate Ganache and rolled in Crushed Peppermint. We’ll also be serving our version, “Vinnie’s Cherry Garcia,” homemade Cherry Ice Cream with Cherries and Dark Chocolate Chunks.
