We hope you are getting ready for the holidays and are as excited as we are to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. On that note, we will be CLOSED this Thursday, Nov. 23rd, for Thanksgiving, but we will be open regular hours the rest of the week. This week at Vinnie’s, we are thankful for fresh local ingredients. Chilly nights call for hot soup…this week we have our Wild Mushroom and Leek Soup topped with Shaved NC Truffles.

Chef Tom has brought back one of your favorites, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon! Oven-roasted with fresh bacon, it’s the perfect addition to any meal.

But wait, there’s more! Locals Seafood provides us with fresh Seafood daily, including Oysters, Scallops, Shrimp, and a variety of Fish. From our friends at Locals Seafood, we will have Sautéed NC Speckled Trout served over Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes, topped with Garlic and Toasted Pecans, then finished with Brown Butter Sauce. We will also have Pan-Fried NC Flounder and Outer Banks Scallops with Bacon Jam. You can always enjoy a Cold-water Maine Lobster Tail as an entrée or add it to your favorite steak to make it a Surf and turf. Finally, we have a limited supply of Certified Angus Beef Flat Iron Steaks and New Zealand Lamb Racks.

This week’s dessert is like something from a dream, Carrot-Persimmon Cake with a Cream Cheese-Bacon Fat Frosting, Grand Marnier Soaked Raisins, Burnt Orange Syrup, and Pistachio Brittle. Chef Tom also has a new ice cream flavor for your sweet tooth- Rocky Road…Chocolate Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Chunks, Toasted Pecans and House-made Marshmallows.
